Cuando el oscuro y fanático Padre Michael fue apartado del sacerdocio y excomulgado por la iglesia, éste buscó los caminos del diablo. Formó un convento de clausura en el sur de Alemania llamado ambiguamente “Los Niños del Señor”. Pero el señor en cuestión era la figura demoníaca del señor Astaroth, y los inocentes niños fueron criados bajo influencia del propio Satán.
