Sinopsis
El despertador suena y Robert Morgan inicia su jornada. Vaga por una ciudad vacía, aparta diversos cadáveres a su paso, clava estacas en los pechos de algunos seres que halla durmiendo en almacenes y se provee de suministros; al atardecer debe volver a su casa y guarecerse en ella, pues entonces las calles se llenan de vampiros.
