	Slasher Sequenza Part 17 - The Case of the Scorpion's Tail (1971) (06:42 Minutos) The Slasher Sequence: Part XVII - When I'm in the mood for a more serious slasher type flick, I always know I can turn to Italian giallo films aka spaghetti slashers. The typical giallo entry consists of a ruthless and often mysterious murderer, which helped lay the tracks down for the 80s slasher locomotive that came crashing its way onto the cinema scene. The giallo genre peaked during the 1970s and was influenced primarily by Mario Bava's masterful works such as The Girl Who Knew Too Much (1963), Blood and Black Lace (1964), Kill Baby Kill (1966), Five Dolls for an August Moon (1970) and Twitch of the Death Nerve (1971). Of all the directors who would follow in Bava's footsteps, Sergio Martino, Dario Argento, Lucio Fulci and Umberto Lenzi would become among the most well known. For our next entry to the Slasher Sequenza family, I decided to choose an intense scene from The Case of the Scorpion's Tail (1971), directed by one of the maestros of the macabre mentioned above, Sergio Martino. This is one of Martino's harder to find films. Martino also brought us incredible giallo must-haves including The Strange Vice of Mrs. Wardh (1971), All the Colors of the Dark (1972) and Torso (1973). The Italian films listed offer at the very least, an English language selection and various subtitles on their DVD releases. That being said, remember to make sure what you are buying is in both the correct region and language desired before adding it to your collection.
	Slasher Sequenza Part 2 - Torso (1973) (02:58 Minutos) The Slasher Sequence: Part II - Director Sergio Martino has made many contributions to the giallo genre, with Torso aka Carnal Violence being one of his finest offerings. The first person feel created by the type of camera work presented in this scene attempts to pull the viewer directly into the film itself. This stalker cam effect would be used in innumerable body count entries and deservedly so. Martino perfected this style in his own unique way I feel, giving us a front row seat to the madness and the macabre.
