	BARBARELLA meets FLESH GORDON gone 2001 A SPACE ODYSSEY (10:40 Minutos) TAKE AN INTERGALACTIC JOURNEY with the space age adventurer DILDANO (played by a 16 year old Cliff Carson) and featuring noted cinematographer BILL BURTON. Cinema Showcase host and Creative Loafing critic JIM WHALEY directed this little Sc-FI romp back in the 70's. If Barbarella and Flesh Gordon got together this would be their child. Completely inspired by the Roger Vadim / Jane Fonda cult classic with a bit of 2001 a Space Odyssey thrown in. For years I couldn't look at this film. I was told that it would be very cinematic and psychedelic which in some ways it was. Even at 16 I was embarrassed to be wearing that outfit but I was assured by a 28 year old JIM WHALEY that it would all work out. When he showed me the film I wanted to destroy it. I told him I wouldn't do anymore and that's where filming stopped. This is what survived. Looking back on it now, I'm sorry I didn't complete it. It's silly, gay and low budget, but kind of charming. RATED M for MATURE AUDIENCES
