La historia transcurre en una prisión de mujeres localizada en una lejana jungla tropical donde la vida es un infierno para todas, sometidas a toda clase de abusos y torturas y más cuando llega el nuevo director, un tipo más psicópata aún. Sólo el médico de la prisión, un tipo melómano y alcohólico, siente un poco de compasión por ellas. Este ayuda a un grupo de ellas a intentar la huida por la peligrosa jungla.
