Determined to realise his greatest dream to create life, he had assembled a creature from organs gathered from various unwilling donors. The creature is successful brought to life but the instability of the brain, damaged during surgery, causes uncontrollable violent spasms that result in indiscriminate murder....and it is the Baron to whom the blame is laid with fatal consequences. Here is a scene from the Hammer horror classic "Curse Of Frankenstein". In this clip Frankenstein's creation comes to life. I hesitate to call his creation the monster, for the truth is that the real monster in this movie, is none other than Baron Frankenstein himself. This ruthless individual will commit even murder to carry out his experiments. And in this movie he does, which brings up the subject of ethics or morality in relation to science. How far does one go in the pursuit of scientific knowledge? Is it justifiable to experiment on human beings in order to discover medical breakthroughs that might benefit us all? Especially if there is a risk of harm or injury to the subject? There are even some of us who oppose vivisection or animal experiments as cruel and barbaric, but yet others justify it by assuming that our welfare is far more important, than the life of a lowly rat or frog. It's a controversial issue and one that is somewhat related to the subject of this movie.

Beneath The Living... Beyond The Dead... From The Depths Of Hell's Ocean! In the dark days of World War II, the Nazi High Command ordered its scientists to create a top secret race of indestructible zombie storm troopers un-living, unfeeling, unstoppable monstrosities that killed with their bare hands. They were known as The Death Corps. No member of this horrific SS unit was ever captured by the allied forces and, somewhere off the coast of Florida, they have survived Peter Cushing (THE CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN), Brooke Adams (THE DEAD ZONE) and John Carradine (THE HOWLING) star in this suspenseful and genuinely creepy shocker co-written and directed by Ken Wiederhorn (RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD II) - one of the great horror "sleepers" of the 1970s. Although the film's original negative mysteriously disappeared over 20 years ago, SHOCK WAVES has now been transferred from the directors own vault print and digitally restored for this premiere DVD release!
