Sinopsis
Durante la época Victoriana ocurre una serie de inexplicables crímenes. El inspector Quenell es asignado al caso, para encontrar al asesino. Pero las investigaciones le llevarán por otro camino. Parece ser que Wanda Ventham, la hija del científico Robert Flemyng, ha pasado demasiado tiempo en el laboratorio de su padre: tiene la capacidad de transformarse en una especie de mariposa vampiro que crece desmesuradamente y ataca a los seres humanos para beberse su sangre.
